Flexell Space created a Paris-based French unit named FLEXELL SPACE FRANCE SAS on Oct. 26, 2026, to back continuing contract and volume-production talks with European customers.

Flexell Space is a space solar solution company, and the Paris announcement arrived as the company’s business discussions in Europe advanced. The firm creates next-generation tandem solar cells and associated power systems for space use. Tandem cells join different kinds of solar cells to provide performance, low weight, and cost competitiveness for space missions. The company is moving past cell development into modules and arrays made for particular customer missions and satellite platforms.

Work toward commercialization and volume production covers product performance, space-environment reliability, manufacturing repeatability, quality management, and supply stability.

Flexell Space says it is currently holding talks with multiple European customers on collaboration agreements and on volume supply for space solar cells and related power solutions. “We are currently discussing contracts and volume supply with multiple European customers,” said Keo-san Lee, CFO of Flexell Space. Discussions past the initial product introduction stage include technical documentation reviews, sample evaluations, environmental test results, and design adjustments. Moving toward volume supply requires lining up production schedules and quality management processes.

Through the Paris office, the company wants to speed up customer communication and support work running from technical reviews through negotiations on supply terms. Flexell Space said a local presence is increasingly important for quick responses to customer needs as talks advance toward contracts and volume production. By learning each customer’s development schedule and technical needs, the company hopes to enable timely decisions and follow-up actions during collaboration. Using the French office, Flexell intends to bring feedback from European technical talks into product development and supply planning faster.

The French unit will connect European customers with the company’s research, development, and manufacturing teams in Korea. It will improve coordination with European customers and Korean R&D teams by sharing specifications, evaluation criteria, development progress, and validation results. Space solar cells call for close coordination over performance, dimensions, reliability, and delivery timing, with specifics shaped by each customer’s spacecraft design and operating environment. Because satellite missions and platforms are growing more varied, space power answers increasingly need development and supply terms fitted to particular operating conditions.

Flexell plans to deepen ties with customers and partners across Europe, specifically France, Germany, Italy, and Lithuania. The company will continue discussions covering supply scope, development schedules, production volumes, and delivery timelines, aiming to turn negotiations into concrete business results. It will run the French office as a center for building long-term relationships with European customers.

Besides current customer projects, the company will look for new product uses and joint development with local space companies and research bodies. The strategy is to stay close to customers and tie their requirements to Korean research, development, and manufacturing preparations to grow the European business.
