SpaceNews will host a virtual event called Satellite Mission Management at the Edge on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. ET.

SpaceNews said the program will feature Dave Huber, vice president of space ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) at RTX; Brandon Miller, interim director of global defense partners at Amazon Web Services; and Dave Gauthier, chief strategy officer of GXO, Inc. Mike Gruss, chief content and strategy officer at SpaceNews, will moderate.

SpaceNews said RTX is sponsoring the event. The company describes itself as having more than 180,000 global employees, 2025 sales of more than $88 billion and headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Talks will cover satellite mission management, computing at the network edge, automation and cloud-native designs (software built for cloud environments), plus adding new capabilities to older infrastructure.

The event takes place via Zoom, and SpaceNews will make a recording available shortly after it ends. Registrants must accept the SpaceNews Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, agree to receive email from SpaceNews and partners, and may opt out at any time.
